The Seattle Textile and Rug Society ( STARS ) is dedicated to increasing knowledge and appreciation of fine rugs and textiles for members and the general public throughout the greater Puget Sound area.  

     Through meetings, speakers, newsletters, and exhibitions, STARS provides its members an opportunity to learn and to share their interest in the world of carpets, textiles and the related arts.  Anyone interest in studying, collecting, preserving or decorating with textiles and rugs will enjoy being a member of STARS.

Advance notice of meetings and information about speakers.  Meetings occur several times per year.  The typical format will include light refreshments and a presentation by a member or guest speaker.   All meetings include the opportunity for members and guests to bring rugs and textiles for discussion.

Free admission to meetings and exhibitions.  $5 for nonmembers and guests.

The STARS newsletter, which includes articles, announcements and notices of upcoming events of interest to the rug and textile community.
